Succesful collaboration between Flowtec and engineering company

One of our customers, an engineering company, recently contacted us for a nice project.

They were looking for a qualified partner, who was able to advise them correctly with their pump question.

Short summary of this nice pump project:

• Application: dosing of high concentrated salt solution
• Selected pumps: small magnetic drive gear pumps and Boyser peristaltic pumps

Some of these high concentrated salt solutions had to be dosed at a temperature of 90°C. For this temperature, Flowtec selected small magnetic drive gear pumps which can handle high temperature applications. These pumps are controlled by external frequency control to dose the correct volume.

The Boyser peristaltic pumps however were selected for high concentrated salt solutions at ambient temperature, up to 730 l/h. The delivered peristaltic pumps are equipped with integrated frequency control and are used, as well as the gear pumps, for dosing application.
